ABT - Advanced Brightness Technology

  Core Technology
The ABT (Advanced Brightness Technology) CCFL Backlight Technology
  1. ABT backlight technology and manufacturing processes are significantly different from those  in the manufacturing of       regular LCD backlights.
  2. There are trade secrets in materials, design & manufacturing  techniques. Our ABT backlight Inverter provides wider       dimming range  (200:1 vs regular 4:1), lower power consumption, and PWM (pulse width modulation) function. With       our ABT technology, we can provide   Optical Enhancement techniques with mechanical customization capability.

  Advantages

  Brightness
  ■Outdoor:
On a normal sunny day, the illumination of ambient daylight is at 107,600 LUX (30,000 nits). Therefore, brightness      should be over 900 nits to get a clear image for outdoor application.
  ■ Indoor:
Standard LCD displays are weak in brightness. Even indoors, high ambient light environments, such as atriums, can      prove challenging to the view ability of a standard 300 nit display.  Our ABT displays resolve this brightness issue,      providing excellent picture and color quality.

  Viewing Angle:
  ■ Better Viewing Angle Compare to Regular LCD.

Contrast Ratio
  ■ Definition of Contrast Ratio:
On (White) luminance / Off (Black) luminance
       Ambient Contrast Ratio=[Y(w)+Y(g)]/[Y(b)+Y(g)]
Y(w)=luminance of LCD screen in white
Y(b)=luminance of LCD screen in black
Y(g)=background luminance cause by light scattering or reflection at                 the LCD front surface.

 Color Domain
According to above CIE 1976 lab, 3-dimensional diagram, the brighter the light intensity, the wider the color spectrum   and saturation. LITEMAX's VHB panel provide better color domain.
